Li-Fi vs Wi-Fi: A Battle of Light and Waves

Li-Fi vs Wi-Fi: A Battle of Light and Waves Li-fi is a light fidelity device that supports only the infrared and other lighting systems to transfer the data to the device which is used to receive from the sender device. Wifi is a wireless fidelity device that supports the radio waves to transfer the data to the wifi device which is used to receive the wifi signals at the limited ranges due to the device version capacity. Introduction to the computer system and computer applications related topics are listed following below here: Li-Fi vs Wi-Fi: A Battle of Light and Waves Let’s discuss the computer system related topic and questions above listed and their answers are following below here: Li-Fi vs Wi-Fi: A Battle of Light and Waves There are some points on the computer system and data communication related to the topic of “Li-Fi vs Wi-Fi: A Battle of Light and Waves” following below here: Lifi based data communication system:- Li-Fi is a light based signal data transmission ...

What are the internal tasks or activities involved during booting of a computer?

What are the internal tasks or activities involved during booting of a computer?

When you start your computer first CPU starts booting system on your before the interface between user and window. Here are some steps of the booting system following below:

These are the basic sub system. Some points are back and forth.😉

Step 1

First step is to checking CPU timing and its performance of the clock system.

Step 2

Second step is to checking Random Access Memory performance.

Step 3

Then step 3 to check the performance of the cache memory.

Step 4

Then it will check the presence of floppy drive and CD-ROM and Hard Drive and other hardware.

Step 5

Then the boot system will check the CPUs connected hardware such as Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard and other attributes.

Step 6

After above these steps all over programs are ready it will interface the ‘login form’ or account to click 'ok' to enter in the windows operating system.

Can a HDD be used for an installed operating system?

Yes, it is true that the hard disk is used for permanently storing the database files and program files to process and it is also used for running on the operating system and application software.
The operating system is used to install on the hard disk drive to store it and their program files, database files etc. to process it and booting from the hard disk drive to run on the computer system.

this image shows the operating stores in a different types of storage device such as:- flash drives, pen drive, Hard Disk Drive, SSD and other permanent storage device is used to install the operating system but here is in the image shows some options that generally used on the computer system

The operating system is used to store the saved file which is created into the hdd storage from the end user because the hdd is a storage device that provide only the permanent memory in large scale of memory space of the computer system in old days but here is a SSD a new storage device technology which is also permanent storage device for installation of new operating system and application software which gives a high performance as compared to HDD storage device on the computer.

Types of Local Storage in Computer Systems

Describe the different types of local storage of computer systems? The local storage device is a type of memory for the user to keep a database file for a long time to access again and stored as a distributed offline database on the local storage. The local storage device can be pendrive, compact discs, dvd, floppy drive, HDD, SSD, memory card etc. The local storage needs to keep the valuable database file for the user to provide the lost database if suddenly deleted or formatted the whole drive of the computer system. Local storage in computer systems refers to devices or media that store data directly connected to the computer. There are several types, including Hard Disk Drives (HDDs), which use spinning disks and magnetic heads to store data; Solid-State Drives (SSDs), which store data in flash memory, offering faster access times and lower power consumption; and Hybrid drives, which combine elements of both. Other forms of local storage include USB flash drives, SD cards, and CDs/...

Operating System Basics: Understanding How Your Computer Thinks

Operating System Basics: Understanding How Your Computer Thinks The operating system is a system software that provides the functionality of the hardware to use and operate it on the computer to get the output data or information for use depending on the users. The operating system supports the application software that provides another service on the computer system to give a solution from an application specific program. The operating system installed into the computer that stores all the database files into the storage device which is also used to access the memory location of files and information depends on the memory address. The operating system manages the resources of the computer that include the input resources, output resources, storage resources and other types of peripherals that are used to process the program of the operating system. An operating system (OS) is the core software that allows a computer to function by acting as a bridge between the user, applications, and...
