i) Multimedia is an advance technology that facilitates integration of text, data, image, graphics, audio, video animation in digital form.

ii) Multimedia provides new ways to enhance the delivery of information and impacts on the user.

iii) Multimedia is to be display the information in pictures and sound forms also it does not include plain text exclusively.

iv) The displayed information are captured digitized by input device to get the information ready for manipulation by the computer.

v) Multimedia is the new trend in the field of computer science because it combines the different media in one computer application that is known as multimedia.

vi) It enable the computer is to be used as an entertainment and educational information tools besides just a business tools.

What are its components? 

There are six components of multimedia are following:

i) Text

ii) Graphics

iii) Animation

iv) Audio

v) Video

vi) Images

How can multimedia systems be helpful in education and marketing?

i) Text: Computer can display a variety of fonts, colors and their combinations also the ultimate results appear fat better than the plaint text.

ii) Graphics can uses to educational purpose for the small children to study easily also it can be used as marketing purpose for example logo registration for unique identification of a company.

iii) Animation is to be uses for education such as story line creativity of motivational, a specific task or any direction movement of the dynamic graphics and objects to show a subject topic also.

iv) Audio is also to make a better informative subject to understand the people and student for their conversation used in an animation and video data.

v) Video is the data is the sequence of images to teach the students for specific subject for their education purpose. Such website to share educational knowledge and skill by the video data and conferencing.
