What are the various shared data in operating system services ?

What are the various shared data services in operating system?

There are some types of various shared data services of the computer to uses in daily life.

1. To connect the data cable for connectivity to share data system to system with ether net port using CAT 6 cable which is connects only in ether net port.

2. USB data cable is generally used in your daily life which is connected mobile to system and mobile to pen-drive.

3. SD card slot in your laptop to connect the SD card shares the data.

4. WI-FI connections to sharing data using online working and also provides a connection to mobile data pack using internet.

5. Blue tooth connectivity using shortly for sharing with offline in short distance.

6. CD and DVD writer is statically shares the data from Compact disk CD or DVD digital video disk.

7. Other devices uses for hard copy with printer to shares and printout of the data as document.

8. Mobile to computer data cable:-
Included the data cable which is available for USB port to type -c port on the smartphone to share the data from computer system to smartphone device to phone to computer. The micro usb port is also available with other smartphone device to provide the connection of data cable for sharing the data between computer and smartphone device.

The data can be shared in the network device to the another computer system:-

Network device is used to share data to the computer system in the network model. That is another way to share the data using the network operating system in the network model.
Network device is used to connect more computers that are able to share the data to each other using the data cable connection or wireless medium provided by the network device in the wireless network model.

To share data between devices on a network, you can consider these two approaches:

1. File Sharing Protocols

Use file-sharing protocols such as SMB (Server Message Block) for operating systems. These protocols allow one device to access files on another device within the same network, enabling easy sharing of folders, files, or even entire drives.

2. Network Drive Mapping

Map a network drive on the target computer, which makes shared folders or drives accessible like a local drive. This setup is especially useful in office environments, as users can open, edit, and save files on the network drive without having to transfer files back and forth.

A file can be transferred through the network application on operating system on computer:-

A file can be transferred through the network application on operating system on computer

File can be transferred through the network application where the network application software is a tool application to provide the functionality of connecting to another computer through the IP address using a network device and data cable to share the file and the file can be transferred through the data cable.

A file can be transferred through the FTP server because the FTP server is a network program to allow the file to transfer the other type's IP address through the connected server on the computer system or it also works in the simple network or peer-to-peer between two computers through the network data cable.

The role of data cable in the network program of the FTP server:-

The data cable connects both computer systems in peer to peer connection to provide the data transfer services on the network model such as:- ethernet cable is used to data transfer.

The ethernet cable is a twisted pair of brown, orange, green, and white with other combinations depending on the cat5e, cat6 etc. These are the categories of the ethernet data cable to connect and provide the service of shared data through the operating system.

USB cable is another way to data transfer:-

The USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable is used for USB protocols through their specific port available at newer laptop computer and also used with the smartphone device to provide the folder option to get the file where the USB data transfer service is used to provide the option to move or copy/paste option to provide the service to transfer data and files which is selected from the computer to smartphone or tablet or other computer system.

The operating system support the network device HUB for sending data:-

The operating system uses the computer system to send the data transfer using the hub that means the hub is a simple network device to provide one way to data transfer to the other connected devices or computers.

The hub is not an intelligent network device that takes decision control to send the data to which connected computer system or resources.

The hub is just simply sending the data and files at the same time distributed to the other connected storage resource or computer system or smartphone device.

The topology model uses the hub network device to connect and share the data transfer to the computer system or other resources connected to the hub network device.

The network device hub is supported by the operating system and allows through the available network application with detection of new hardware connected to the computer systems.

Discuss the role played by the various components of the CPU

Q Discuss the roles played by the various components of CPU? The CPU is the brain of the computer system. All major calculations, manipulations and comparisons are made by the CPU. The CPU is also responsible for activating and controlling the operations performed by all other units of the computer system. The major components of the CPU are: a) Arithmetic Logic Unit (A.L.U.) b) Control Unit (CU) c) Primary Memory Arithmetic Logic Unit (A.L.U.): What is ALU Arithmetic logic Unit? ALU is a part of the CPU. It is a part to calculate the logical term in the CPU where the term refers to an operation of logical type. It also calculates the arithmetic terms in the CPU where the term refers to an operation of arithmetic type. It is used to direct access through the processor controller. The ALU connected to the input and output peripheral system through the bus with the different types of bus. Such as control bus, data bus etc. ALU is a part of the CPU that can calculate the input...

About the memory and its Classification of the computer Memory

What are the memories in the reference of computer system? What is Computer Memory?:- The memory is the essential for the computer to store the data, instruction and information. Without memory, computers are not be able to store data, instruction etc. The memory is an essential part of a computer system. It is require by the computer system to store information. Memory can be divided into the following two categories types: i) Primary or Main memory ii) Secondary Memory or Permanent memory In this figure I'll show the classification of the memory of computer system peripheral and architecture of organisations Primary Memory or Main memory:- i) Primary memory is the memory which is fastest memory of the computer. ii) It is a small but relatively fast storage unit that stores data and instruction which are used by the CPU (central processing unit). iii) This type or category of a memory is the main memory of the computer. It is a temporary memory and also we ...

What are the three main purpose of an operating system?

What are the three main purpose of an operating system? There are three main purpose of an operating system. 1. The first main purpose is User interface between hardware and users. 2. The second main purpose is to operate the internal parts of the computer properly and systematically using binary code system in the form of 0 and 1. 3. The third main purpose is to provide an environment for development of an application software and program to uses the hardware resources of the computer and connected to the computer parts which provides output to the user, the output from application software is very useful for users. Interface between user and hardware device  The operating system uses all types of interface such as command line interface, batch command interface and Graphical User Interface to interact with users to hardware peripheral devices through the monitor screen. Monitor has a big role making interface between hardware and users. Monitor visualization of all types ...
