The NOS is a software that provide an environment to operate the hardware resources such as network device, I/O resources, database memory devices

The environment of the network operating system contains the options of operating the hardware resources connected in the network system or any particular model of the computer network.

The network operating system provide to the user of network to operate and access the hardware resources such as:-

I/O devices are input and output devices connected in the network model.

Input devices: Keyboard input device, Mouse input device, Microphone, camera or webcam, scanner etc.

Network devices such as servers, hubs, switches and routers gateway etc.

Database storage device: Hard disk, Compact disc, DVD, Flash drive or Pendrive, Solid State Drive etc.

It is an example of a basic network operating system to connect more users according to the ports available on the switches.
