Hardware layer of computer system

Hardware layer of a computer system contains  devices that are used to connect and make the whole computer system. The devices of the computer system are necessary to build the computer system because the device contains memory, process chip, peripheral devices, input device, output device, temporary memory, permanent memory etc.

The hardware devices are used to perform a task to take input data to the computer and give output data to the user. The process peripheral system is used to process the data, instructions, and program from control by the input device. After the process system of data is used to give output data to the user through the output device of the computer system. The hardware devices are used to provide hardcopy of documents through printer, audio or voice data from speaker, display data through monitor output device.


Operating system layer of computer system

Operating system is used to operate the peripheral devices of the computer system that controls all the hardware devices and small parts of the computer system known as peripheral devices. The computer system contains an operating system which is used to program the peripheral devices that operate the devices of the computer which are implemented on the motherboard and connected with the motherboard of the computer system.

The operating system programs to control the peripheral devices of the processing system that is used to provide output data to the user through the output device as controlled by the operating system through the output unit of the operating system. Similarly the input unit is also controlled by the operating system using the program techniques of the operating system. The operating system is used to control the memory devices to store the program into the temporary memory and permanent memory is used to store the database permanently and also stores the operating system files after installation process into the memory of permanent storage.


Database layer of computer system

Database layer of a computer system is used to control the devices of memory which are used to store the database of the user into the memory space of the storage device of the computer system.

The operating system also has its own database files which are used to process the data and give output data to the user.

The database of any type of application software is used to process the data and manipulation for the user to use again from the application software known as retrieve database of a particular person or stored data from the database file. The database also has a processing system for the user to give the desired output data in the different types of data such as video data, text data, audio data and image data etc.


User interface and security interface layer of computer system

User interface and security is necessary to protect the computer system as a part of the operating system on the computer system. The security interface is used to provide a layer of protection to access the database through unknown users on the computer system.

User interface provides the application that contains options for the user to control the hardware devices of the computer system which is connected to the computer system.

The application software also has a user interface to control the application software with some options and frames given to the user to choose an option to perform and give output data to the user after processing work of the application software on the computer system.
