Digital database communication system is a communication based on the digitization which includes the digital transmission of the data with signals forms of 1 or 0 based techniques to detect and identify the digital signals. The data can be transferred to the user if the user is connected to the network to sender user on the network model or internet services.

Digital communication generally uses the communication models: TCP/IP, OSI model, Peer to peer connection, PAN etc. that are used to provide the communication and the data sharing system to connect to each other computer using their request based method to accept the request by the user on the data communication system.

If the user is try to send the file which has a size of 30 mb (megabyte) to the connected user on the data communication model in the network model then how much can take the latency to send to the user where the network model supports 1mbps of speed to share the data to each other between the network model.

The file size = 30mb (megabyte)

The speed support in network model = 1mbps (megabit per second)

Calculation of the latency of file transfer:-

Time of data transfer speed = file size ( in megabyte ) / network support speed 

= 30/1

= 30 seconds

In the example the file can take 30 seconds to transfer the completed file to the user who receives the file.

This is a basic example of the data transfer timing or latency based numerical and an example to describe how the network model works during the data transfer to each other.
