Explain with an example of communication and network on a computer system?

What is computer communication and networks?

Computer communications is a type of data transfer to each other to share the data based on the network type which means a communication between two or more than two computers included data cable or wireless medium uses the microwaves to transfer the data to the connected computer system through the network device in the network model and the user can share the data to each other to make a communication system based on the digital data sharing by sending files and messages to each other.

The network device, the data cable, application software, computer system and resources to make a network model for sharing depends on the capacity of data cable and network device to transfer the data to each other.

1. Computer Communication:

This is the process of exchanging data and information between computers and other devices. It enables the sharing of resources, information, and services across systems.

2. Computer Networks:

These are interconnected systems of computers and devices, allowing them to communicate with each other through various methods (such as wired or wireless connections) to share data, resources, and applications.

What is computer communication and networks?

There are some points on the computer system and communication networks related to the topic of “What is computer communication and networks?” following below here:

Explain with an example of communication and network on a computer system? What is computer communication and networks?

  • Communication and network is based on the network device
  • Communication system includes the TCP IP or OSI model based network communication model
  • Communication and network based on the two mediums wired connection or wireless medium
  • Communication and network security based on the relational database model or object database model

Let's discuss the points listed above about the computer system and communication networks related to the topic of “What is computer communication and networks?” explanation following below here:

Communication and network is based on the network device

Communication and network is based on the network equipment or hardware resources that makes a network model to provide the service of data sharing and the user can communicate to each other using the wired connection or wireless medium which is based on the microwave data transfer technique.

In the network and communication model the data is broken into many parts or pieces of information which is known as a data packet to send the data packets into the connected user's devices or computer system or smartphone device.

The data packets can be transferred through the data cable such as:- a data cable has a capacity of 1 Mbps to 10 Mbps only that the data packets can be transferred to the targeted IP address of the computer system or smartphone device or other resources.

1. Network Devices Enable Data Transmission:

Network devices like routers, switches, and hubs are essential for directing and managing data traffic, ensuring that information reaches its correct destination across the network.

2. Network Devices Improve Communication Efficiency:

Devices like firewalls and load balancers help enhance network security and performance, making communication faster and more reliable by controlling data flow and preventing unauthorized access.

Communication system includes the TCP IP or OSI model based network communication model

Communication system included the TCP or IP model based network model that includes the four layers of communication system to communicate and make a network for data sharing to the user such as:- a user can communicate through the TCP/IP model which includes layers of communication as:- application layer, transport layer, network layer and the physical layer. The physical layer is necessary for the TCP model to share the data Because the physical layer is known as the hardware connection which physically connects the computers to each other.

The physical layer included the network device, data cable, Hardware input and output and the computer system with storage device.

1. TCP/IP Model:

The TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) model is a foundational framework for internet communication, organizing data into packets and managing how it is transmitted across networks. It has four layers: Application, Transport, network, and physical layer, each with specific roles in data communication.

2. OSI Model:

The OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model is a seven-layer reference model that standardizes how different network protocols communicate. These layers, from Physical to Application, help guide data transfer processes, making network communication reliable, interoperable, and organized across various network systems.

Communication and network based on the two mediums wired connection or wireless medium

Communication and network based on the two mediums wired connection which is known as a physical layer of the TCP model for communication system included network device, data cable, input and output devices and storage device, computer system etc.

The wireless medium included the network device to provide the microwave for data communication to be accessed by the logical level of Authentication Code and applied to access and allow the permission to access the network after verification of the user id and the password to verify the user ID in the network device interface of access the network model.

The microwave medium for data transmission reduces the data cable traffic which takes more space to spread the network area geographically.

Let's explain with in the brief:-

1. Wired Connection:

In a wired connection, devices are connected through physical cables (like Ethernet) to transmit data. This method offers high-speed, stable, and secure connections, making it suitable for environments requiring reliable data transmission, such as offices and data centers.

2. Wireless Medium:

Wireless connections use radio waves, microwaves, or infrared signals to transmit data without cables. This provides flexibility and ease of use, allowing devices to connect over greater distances, ideal for mobile and remote applications like Wi-Fi and cellular networks.

Communication and network security based on the relational database model or object database model

Network security and communication security model included the application software for the logical level of security to provide the protection of the personal database and official database when the user access the network security interface then they interacts with the security layer included the username and password which has been created before the settings up the network and communication model for the client user or admin user.

The user can interact also through the object based verification system including the biometric verification, voice recognition, face recognition etc. These object based verification protects the sensitive database for the user to provide the high level of security for special users such as:- a company has 4 privileged users to access the sensitive database of the website and they can manipulate the database also because they have an authority to access the object based security and sensitive database.

1. Relational Database Model:

In the relational database model, data is stored in structured tables with rows and columns. This model supports strong data integrity and easy querying through SQL, which is crucial for secure data management in network systems, as it ensures accurate access controls and data relationships.

2. Object Database Model:

The object database model stores data as objects, similar to object-oriented programming. This approach allows complex data structures and relationships to be managed more intuitively, supporting dynamic and flexible security models, which are beneficial for applications requiring complex data handling, such as multimedia or real-time network communications.

Discuss the role played by the various components of the CPU

Q Discuss the roles played by the various components of CPU? The CPU is the brain of the computer system. All major calculations, manipulations and comparisons are made by the CPU. The CPU is also responsible for activating and controlling the operations performed by all other units of the computer system. The major components of the CPU are: a) Arithmetic Logic Unit (A.L.U.) b) Control Unit (CU) c) Primary Memory Arithmetic Logic Unit (A.L.U.): What is ALU Arithmetic logic Unit? ALU is a part of the CPU. It is a part to calculate the logical term in the CPU where the term refers to an operation of logical type. It also calculates the arithmetic terms in the CPU where the term refers to an operation of arithmetic type. It is used to direct access through the processor controller. The ALU connected to the input and output peripheral system through the bus with the different types of bus. Such as control bus, data bus etc. ALU is a part of the CPU that can calculate the input

About the memory and its Classification of the computer Memory

What are the memories in the reference of computer system? What is Computer Memory?:- The memory is the essential for the computer to store the data, instruction and information. Without memory, computers are not be able to store data, instruction etc. The memory is an essential part of a computer system. It is require by the computer system to store information. Memory can be divided into the following two categories types: i) Primary or Main memory ii) Secondary Memory or Permanent memory In this figure I'll show the classification of the memory of computer system peripheral and architecture of organisations Primary Memory or Main memory:- i) Primary memory is the memory which is fastest memory of the computer. ii) It is a small but relatively fast storage unit that stores data and instruction which are used by the CPU (central processing unit). iii) This type or category of a memory is the main memory of the computer. It is a temporary memory and also we
