That means the cpu gives a permission and to allow the application software or program to be executed on the operating system to give output results for the user when the user calls the program on the computer system through input device by giving some instructions on the computer system according to the user choice.

When the user calls the program through the input device then the computer takes the input instructions to the CPU for processing and some program will be executed on the RAM and the program execution monitor can show these program activities on the monitor screen and the user can see the program which is executing on the program execution monitor application software.
